Water Hauling Services

Background

The City of Goodyear is seeking qualified firms to provide potable water hauling and delivery services specifically for Fire Station 187. This initiative aims to ensure that the fire station has a reliable supply of potable water, which is crucial for its operations.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and services necessary to haul and deliver potable water to the onsite storage system at Fire Station 187. The storage system consists of one 5,000-gallon tank located approximately 30 feet from a manually operated access gate. Deliveries are expected to occur approximately twice per month, with each delivery being around 5,000 gallons. The contractor must also provide emergency delivery rates and comply with Maricopa County and State regulations regarding potable water transportation. All vehicles must have a valid Potable Water Transportation Operating Permit and meet sanitation and operational requirements. Water hauling tanks must be constructed of non-toxic materials, maintained in sanitary condition, and protect the transported water from contamination.

Period of Performance

The contract term is two years from the effective date, with potential extensions for up to six years based on mutual agreement and appropriations.

Fire Station 187, located at 42960 South 99th Avenue, Mobile, Arizona 85239.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit a copy of their current potable water hauling permit with their quotation response. They must also comply with all applicable inspection and operational requirements established by Maricopa County and the State of Arizona.
