Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this contract for the installation of upgraded security alarms and CCTV systems at two visitor centers: Wupatki National Monument (WUPA) and Walnut Canyon National Monument (WACA). The goal of this project is to enhance security measures at these locations, ensuring they meet current standards and integrate with existing systems at other nearby facilities. This initiative is part of a broader effort to maintain safety and security across NPS properties. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to install upgraded security alarms and CCTV systems at the WUPA and WACA visitor centers. Specific tasks include: 1. Installation of a commercial-grade intrusion alarm system compatible with existing systems, including Honeywell control panels, motion sensors, glass break sensors, and panic buttons. 2. Provision of a fully hard-wired CCTV system compliant with DOI/NPS IT security standards, featuring high-resolution cameras capable of digital zoom and night recording. 3. Integration of all systems with a 24-hour central monitoring station. 4. Installation of keypads at designated locations within both visitor centers. 5. Provision of spare parts for emergency repairs including motion sensors and door contacts. 6. Removal of existing cameras and installation of new ones in approved locations while ensuring coverage of all critical areas such as entry points, cash handling areas, and parking lots. Period of Performance The contract work is scheduled to commence upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed and must be completed no later than 180 calendar days thereafter. Place of Performance The work will be performed at the Wupatki National Monument Visitor Center located near milepost 21 on the Sunset Crater-Wupatki Loop Road, Flagstaff, AZ 86004, and the Walnut Canyon National Monument Visitor Center located approximately 7.5 miles east of Flagstaff.
