Mt. Adams Gateway Signage

Background

The City of Cincinnati's Office of Procurement is issuing an invitation to bid for the Mt. Adams Gateway Signage Project. This project aims to enhance the gateway signage in the Mt. Adams area, contributing to the city's aesthetic and functional urban design. The contract is part of the city's ongoing efforts to improve public spaces and promote local tourism.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the fabrication, structural design, engineering, installation, and hauling of gateway signs at specified locations. The work includes: 1. Fabrication and installation of Sign Type 1 at Locations #1 & #3, including granite slab hauling and installation. 2. Fabrication and installation of Sign Type 2 at Location #2, including granite slab hauling and fabrication. 3. All work must adhere to City of Cincinnati Standard Specifications and Ohio Department of Transportation Construction Specifications.

Period of Performance

The contractor must begin work within five (5) calendar days from receipt of written notice to proceed and complete all on-site work within 150 calendar days from that notice.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed in the Mt. Adams neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be registered under the Vendor Self Service (VSS) system at the time of award. A bid bond or certified check equal to at least 10% of the total bid amount is required with each bid submission. Bidders must comply with City of Cincinnati Municipal Code Chapter 324 regarding Minority & Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Program Regulations.
