Background

The Monroe County School Nutrition Program is seeking proposals from staffing agencies to provide Nutrition Assistant Workers across all school sites in the Monroe County School System. This initiative aims to fulfill staffing needs for nutrition assistant job openings, ensuring that the program can effectively serve its mission of providing nutritious meals to students. The contract will be awarded to one agency for a term of one year, with the possibility of three annual renewals based on performance.

Work Details

The selected staffing agency will be responsible for job placement of Nutrition Assistant Workers at various school locations within the Monroe County School System. This includes recruiting, hiring, and managing personnel who will assist in food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with health and safety standards. The agency must ensure that all staff provided are adequately trained and meet any necessary qualifications as required by the School Nutrition Program.

Period of Performance

The contract is set to commence on July 1, 2026, and will run until June 30, 2027. There are options for annual renewal for up to three additional years based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various school locations within the Monroe County School System in Forsyth, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with federal and state regulations concerning procurement processes as outlined in 7CFR 210.21 and 2 CFR part 200. Additionally, vendors must not have been debarred or suspended from federal programs. The SFA encourages participation from minority-owned businesses and requires adherence to equal employment opportunity laws.
