Background Travis Air Force Base (TAFB), CA, has a requirement for maintenance and repair services for dormitory washers and dryers. The goal of this contract is to ensure the continuous operation and reliability of these appliances through preventive maintenance and timely repairs. This contract is intended to support the mission of the Air Force by maintaining essential services for personnel residing in dormitory facilities. Work Details The Contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, tools, supplies, materials, parts, transportation, personnel, labor, supervision, and management to perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs on government-owned washers and dryers located in specified dormitory buildings at Travis AFB. Key tasks include: - Conducting quarterly preventive maintenance inspections on all units. - Performing routine repairs on washers, dryers, lint traps, and dryer vents. - Cleaning lint traps, exhaust ducts, and inspecting dryer venting systems to prevent fire hazards. - Checking electrical connections and ensuring proper operation of all units. - Lubricating moving parts as per manufacturer recommendations. - Developing a repair-sequencing plan to ensure no equipment is out of service for more than three days. - Submitting service reports within five days of completion of work.
