Background This solicitation is issued by the United States Air Force, specifically the AFLCMC Hanscom, for the replacement of a manual bay car wash system at Hanscom AFB. The current system is beyond economical repair, and the goal of this contract is to procure and install a new self-service car wash system that meets operational requirements while adhering to all relevant regulations. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing a new self-serve car wash system which includes: - Receiving, inventorying, and delivering materials to the site; - Installation that encompasses removal and disposal of old equipment; - Assembly and placement of new equipment; - Startup procedures; - Operator training; - Programming; and ongoing service and support. The contractor must ensure a minimum one-year warranty on parts and labor. Additionally, they are responsible for the removal of all construction debris including old systems, shipping pallets, packaging materials, and any other related waste. Optional preventative maintenance services may also be included. Period of Performance The contract work is scheduled to commence on June 1, 2026, and conclude by August 1, 2026. Place of Performance The work will be performed at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts.
