The goal is to enhance the operational capabilities of K9 units through specialized vehicle modifications. Work Details The contract involves the upfitting of four (4) 2026 Ford F-250 4WD Full Size Crew Cab Pickup trucks. The specific requirements include: 1. **Emergency Lighting and PA/Siren System**: Installation of a complete all LED emergency lighting system with siren and PA, including various Whelen components such as light/siren controllers, visor light bars, grill lights, and surface mount LEDs. 2. **Radio Prep Package**: Provision for power, ground, antenna wiring, and mounting provisions for a base radio, including installation of Motorola components. 3. **Center Console**: A center console with multiple features including armrests, cup holders, power ports, and mounting for siren control. 4. **Cargo Slide Platform with Bed Lock Box**: A cargo slide platform rated at a minimum of 1000 pounds capacity with tie down provisions. 5. **K9 Provisions**: Installation of a canine platform with window guards and door panels made from aluminum with specific safety features. 6. **Suspension Leveling & Tires**: Installation of a leveling kit and new tires suitable for law enforcement use. 7. **Window Tinting**: Application of 3M Automotive Window Film Crystalline Series to various windows. 8. **Front Seat Covers and Floor Liners**: Installation of tactical seat covers and floor liners compatible with OEM flooring. 9. **Electrical System Compliance**: All DC wiring must comply with SAE standards and be installed according to OEM guidelines.
