Background The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Barstow Field Office in the Central Desert District, requires janitorial services for vault toilets at multiple locations in and around Barstow, California. This contract aims to maintain clean and sanitized facilities at recreation sites, ensuring compliance with federal environmental regulations. Work Details The contractor will provide cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking services for up to 25 CXT vault toilets located at Johnson Valley, Stoddard Valley, and Dumont Dunes OHV Recreation sites. Specific tasks include: 1. Inspecting building exteriors for debris and sweeping concrete floors; pressure washing interior floors with a biological cleaning product; 2. Checking and replacing toilet tissue that meets federal guidelines; 3. Removing foreign materials within a 10-foot radius of each vault toilet; cleaning all fixtures including toilet risers, seats, doors, walls, windows; 4. Ensuring no hazardous materials are stored or disposed of on-site; 5. Using environmentally safe practices to prevent pollution during operations. Period of Performance The period of performance is from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027, with three additional option years available. Place of Performance Services will be performed at the following locations: Johnson Valley OHV area, Stoddard Valley OHV area, and Dumont Dunes OHV area in San Bernardino County, California.
