This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Background The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center (Jackson VAMC) requires the acquisition of two state-of-the-art blood gas analyzers and lease renewal for one of the existing blood gas analyzers for its laboratory operations. These analyzers are mission-critical medical diagnostic tools used to measure arterial blood gases (ABG), electrolytes, co-oximetry parameters, and metabolites, providing rapid, high-accuracy clinical insights for patients experiencing respiratory distress, metabolic imbalances, or acute critical illness. The goal of this contract is to ensure patient stabilization and diagnosis in emergency, intensive care, and pulmonary service environments. Work Details The contractor shall furnish and deliver two Radiometer ABL90 FLEX PLUS Analyzers along with all required accessories, consumables, and calibration items to the Jackson VAMC. Additionally, the contractor shall lease one existing Radiometer ABL 820 Analyzer with all required accessories, consumables, and calibration items. The contract must also include a full-service maintenance program with preventive and corrective actions to ensure continuous availability without clinical interruption.
