Background The United States Army Reserve 99th Readiness Division is seeking custodial services for facilities located in Schenectady, NY and Rotterdam, NY. The goal of this contract is to ensure a clean and attractive workplace that enhances public relations and the overall appearance of the facilities. This is a non-personal services contract, meaning the contractor will not be supervised by government personnel but will be accountable solely to the contractor. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and other items necessary to perform custodial services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Services include cleaning designated spaces such as halls, restrooms, offices, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, storage areas, drill/assembly halls, auditoriums, and stairways. Specific tasks include: - Weekly services: - Emptying waste containers; - Sweeping/dust mopping restroom floors; - Damp mopping restroom floors; - Cleaning restroom fixtures; - Servicing restroom supply dispensers. - Monthly services: - Cleaning drinking fountains; - Cleaning walk-off mats; - Sweeping/dust mopping floors; - Damp mopping floors; - Spray cleaning and buffing floors. - Annual services: - Low/high dusting of surfaces over 7 feet high; - Washing interior/exterior doors and frames; - Vacuuming and shampooing carpets/rugs; - Stripping and re-waxing floors once during the base year. The contractor must also maintain effective quality control to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. PROJECT SCOPE: The result of this contract will provide a clean, attractive workplace that presents the facility in its best appearance to enhance public relations and attractiveness of the facility. BROAD DESCRIPTION of WORK: The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide custodial services in accordance with this Performance Work Statement (PWS) except as those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state and federal regulations.3. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: All interested firms shall submit a Capability Statement and email to ryan.p.nicklous.civ@army.mil .
