Background The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) is issuing this solicitation for the removal of asbestos at the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center. Work Details The contractor shall perform the following tasks: 1. Remove asbestos from the Visitor Center (VC) at Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge. 2. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations regarding asbestos removal. 3. Provide a work progress plan detailing workforce and schedule for orderly completion of the work within the contract performance time. 4. Conduct a site visit on June 17, 2026, at 10 AM to assess the work area prior to bidding. 5. Submit questions regarding the solicitation by June 18, 2026, by 12:00 PM EST; no questions will be entertained during the site visit. Period of Performance The contract performance period is from December 2, 2026, to March 3, 2027.
