The USPFO-AL Purchasing and Contracting Office releases a Sources Sought (SS) in support of Market Research being conducted to identify potentially the procurement of AXON X26P Tasers and X26P Taser batteries can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside. This is not a Request for Quote (or solicitation) or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research. No funds are available to fund the information solicited. The currently contemplated NAICS code is 332994 Small Arms, Ordnance, and Ordnance Accessories Manufacturing. Background The USPFO-AL Purchasing and Contracting Office is conducting market research to identify potential procurement options for AXON X26P Tasers and X26P Taser batteries. This initiative supports the AL Counterdrug Task Force operations, specifically for ground reconnaissance and local law enforcement observation missions in Montgomery, AL and surrounding counties. The government is interested in responses from all business types, including large, small, disadvantaged, veteran-owned, Hubzone, and women-owned businesses. Work Details The contract includes the following items: 1. CLIN0001: Twenty (20) Axon X26P Tasers (NO BATTERIES) 2. CLIN0002: Four (4) X26P Taser Batteries Specifications for the Axon X26P Tasers include: - Color: Black - PPM performance power magazine - Right or left-hand blade-tech - Dual laser & LED light - IPX2 rated weatherproofing. Delivery will occur at 1740 Congressman W.L. Dickinson Dr., Montgomery, AL 36109, with inspection and acceptance by a Government representative at the time of delivery. A comprehensive bill of lading or delivery receipt detailing all serial numbers associated with the taser and battery equipment is required.
