Nonpublic Paraprofessional Services - As-Needed

Background

The Passaic Board of Education is soliciting proposals for Nonpublic Paraprofessional Services for the School Year 2026-2027 through a Competitive Contracting Process. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary paraprofessional support services to nonpublic schools within the district, ensuring compliance with educational standards and enhancing student learning experiences.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing as-needed paraprofessional services, which may include but are not limited to: - Assisting teachers in classroom management, - Providing one-on-one support to students with special needs, - Facilitating educational activities under the supervision of licensed educators. The services must comply with all applicable regulations and standards set forth by the New Jersey Department of Education.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and is expected to cover the entire School Year 2026-2027, starting from September 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various nonpublic schools located within Passaic City, New Jersey.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with New Jersey's Affirmative Action requirements and submit a completed Affirmative Action Questionnaire. Additionally, bidders must provide proof of a valid Business Registration Certificate prior to contract award. A Non-Collusion Affidavit must also be submitted with the proposal. Bidders are required to disclose any political contributions made in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.13 if contracts exceed $50,000.
