Hackberry Lane Thermal Repairs

Background

The proposed schedule indicates that pre-qualification packets are due by May 26, 2026. Pre-qualification results will be announced on May 27, 2026. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 28, 2026, and bids will be opened on June 9, 2026.

The work will be performed at The University of Alabama campus locations specifically Hackberry Lane and Farrah Hall Alley in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Bidder Requirements

General Contractors and Prime Sitework/Utilities Contractors must prequalify before bidding or performing work. Contractors not on the UA Master List may request a waiver if they have a successful track record with UA projects. All bidders must meet licensing requirements as per Title 34, Chapter 8 of the Code of Alabama.
