Direct Hire Staffing Services for North Carolina Community Colleges

Background

The North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS) is seeking proposals from qualified staffing and recruiting firms to provide Direct Hire staffing services on an as-needed basis throughout the contract period. These services will support the hiring needs of all 58 North Carolina community colleges. NCCCS plays a vital role in driving economic mobility and workforce competitiveness, serving over 600,000 students annually across all 100 North Carolina counties.

Work Details

The selected Vendor(s) shall deliver comprehensive recruitment services for positions across various functional areas including: - Academic & Instructional Support - Business, Finance & Administration - Facilities, Security & Operations - Information Technology & Digital Learning - Instructors Faculty (Full-Time All Vacancies) - Senior Leadership & Executive Roles - Student Services & Enrollment - Workforce & Continuing Education. Vendors may bid on one or more of the community colleges or categories identified in ATTACHMENT A: COST PROPOSAL. The Vendor will be responsible for recruiting, screening, interviewing, and assigning Placements to perform duties as described in job descriptions provided by the participating community colleges. The Vendor must also pay wages and provide benefits to Placements while handling payroll taxes and unemployment insurance.

Period of Performance

The Contract shall have an initial term of three (3) years, beginning on the date of final Contract execution (the Effective Date).

Place of Performance

The services will be performed throughout the state of North Carolina at various community college locations.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must be registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State prior to entering into a contract with the State. Additionally, Vendors are required to conduct background checks on all employees proposed to work under this Contract at their expense. Vendors must demonstrate experience with public and/or private sector clients with similar or greater size and complexity to the State. They must also provide at least three references using ATTACHMENT E: CUSTOMER REFERENCE FORM.
