The City of Pontiac is seeking proposals for the planting of 300 450 trees of various species as part of the Michigan Urban Forest Restoration Project. The primary objectives of this work include: - Restoring the tree canopy within the city - Improving neighborhood environmental quality - Strengthening urban habitat and resilience - Enhancing environmental and community benefits Who is Requesting: This solicitation is issued by the City of Pontiac.

Background

This project is part of the Michigan Urban Forest Restoration Project and is funded by the American Forests Urban & Community Forest Initiative. The initiative aims to revitalize Pontiac's urban forest, contributing to a healthier and more sustainable community environment.

Contract Requirements

The selected contractor will be responsible for planting between 300 and 450 trees of various species throughout designated areas in Pontiac.
