Background The U.S. Army TMDE Activity (USATA) has a requirement for maintenance and repair of its laboratory environmental systems located at its TMDE Support Center in Tobyhanna, PA. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the temperature and humidity environments necessary for the calibration and repair of sensitive scientific equipment are maintained effectively. The services will be provided by the original equipment provider responsible for the installation during previous renovations. Work Details The Contractor shall perform the following tasks: - Remove existing Temp/Humidity Controller for each of the three labs and replace it with a PLC Controller; - House the PLC controller in a new 24x24 NEMA Enclosure; - Provide a new standalone PC with VT SCADA to monitor, trend, and store all data; - Program PLCs to match existing temperature/humidity control; - Install new control panels and interface them with existing equipment; - Provide startup training for the new control system. Additionally, the Contractor shall deliver a written summary of overall laboratory conditions, including any deficiencies and recommended repairs, as well as maintain a record of laboratory environmental certification. Period of Performance On-site services shall be provided during normal business hours from 0730 to 1630 hours, Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays. Place of Performance The performance will take place at the US Army TMDE Support Center, located at 11 Hap Arnold Blvd, Tobyhanna, PA 18466.
