Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be prequalified by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) for bidding on state projects. They must have prior experience in the jacking and blocking of beams and structural steel repairs as well as in the repair of bridge substructures using Shotcrete. Documentation demonstrating successful completion of at least three relevant projects is required. The Authority encourages participation from minority-owned and women-owned businesses.
