Background

The State of Tennessee, Department of General Services (DGS), Central Procurement Office (CPO) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to procure a Managed Service Provider (MSP) for the State's Staff Augmentation Program and Projects-Based/Deliverables Staffing. The goal is to establish a source of supply for all Tennessee State Agencies and ensure that qualified respondents have the opportunity to do business with the state.

Work Details

The selected MSP will manage the Staff Augmentation Program, which includes four job categories: Information Technology (IT), Medical, General Administration, and Language and Communication Assistance Services. Responsibilities include managing a supplier management tool, overseeing the contingent worker engagement process, fulfilling staffing needs for projects valued at $1 million or less, and providing a Vendor Management System (VMS) capable of: - Adding value in procurement and utilization of contingent workers. - Reducing costs associated with contingent worker engagement. - Minimizing time spent on engagement processes while ensuring compliance with state policies. - Developing processes that ensure compliance with statutory requirements. - Tracking and managing sub-vendor performance. - Providing visibility into contingent workforce spending.

The contract period will be defined in the Pro Forma Contract, which outlines the scope of services and deliverables, payment terms, and other mandatory requirements.

The services will be performed statewide across various Tennessee State Agencies as specified in the contract.

Respondents must hold all necessary business or professional licenses to provide required goods or services.
