Summary (Newest Update)

Background The 355th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS) is seeking a Brand Name Only (BNO) purchase and installation of an AutoCrib VX1000. The AutoCrib system is designed to provide immediate access to on-hand parts and consumables, thereby eliminating delays related to tool searches and manual checkout processes. This initiative aims to reduce ground support equipment downtime, ensuring that HH-60W aircraft remain on schedule for inspections, repairs, and pre-flight requirements. Work Details The contractor is required to provide all labor, transportation, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation, programming, and testing of a Bench Stock Management System at Nellis Air Force Base (NAFB). The system must include the following core capabilities: 1. Real-time visibility of all parts with quantities on hand and specific locations using barcodes or RFID technology. 2. Integration with the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) for automated reordering. 3. Scales for automated tracking of small parts by weight. 4. Capability to group individual parts into kits for specific maintenance tasks. 5. Role-based access controls for inventory data management. 6. Automated notifications when stock levels fall below user-defined thresholds. The expected outcome is a fully functional turn-key system that meets all outlined requirements. Period of Performance The work shall be scheduled during standard hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal legal holidays. Place of Performance The installation will take place at 5165 Ellsworth Ave, Bldg. 61686, Nellis AFB, NV.
