Background The Bureau of Reclamation’s Hoover Dam requires a complete light and siren equipment package for a newly acquired 2026 Chevy 1500. The Security Response Force (SRF) serves as the tactical response unit responsible for safeguarding Hoover Dam, which is designated as a National Critical Infrastructure (NCI), ensuring the safety of employees and the visiting public. The goal of this contract is to support SRF operational readiness through the installation of law-enforcement grade equipment. Work Details The contractor shall furnish and install a Whelen Vehicle Light and Siren Package on the Government Owned 2026 Chevy 1500, including: 1. Siren and Light Control System: Whelen Core Siren Amplifier & 9XS Lightbar Package, OBD II Interface Cable, 100 Watt Siren Speaker with Mounting Bracket, Expansion Module. 2. Lightbar: 54" Whelen 9XS Edge Lightbar, Dual Color (Red, White, Blue, White). 3. Front Warning Lights: Whelen Tion Tri Color (Red, Blue, White) for front grille with 90-degree mounting brackets. 4. Side Warning Lights: Whelen Tion Tri Color (Red, Blue, White) for front and rear fenders. 5. Rear Warning Lights: Whelen Tion Tri Color (Red, Blue, White), surface mounted on rear tailgate; Whelen Mini Tion Dual Color (Red/Blue), rear-facing inner step; Tail Light Flasher. 6. Weapons Storage: D T Rail Mount with two universal HK gun locks in free-standing configuration. 7. Additional Equipment: 15 circuit power management system with timer and custom wiring harness; required installation materials. Installation requirements include secure mounting and integration into the vehicle’s electrical system, protection and labeling of all wiring to industry standards, verification of system functionality upon completion, and completion of any manufacturer recommended programming. Deliverables include a fully installed and tested vehicle lighting and siren system along with documentation such as wiring diagrams and user manuals. Period of Performance The work shall be performed from June 1, 2026 to August 1, 2026. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at Hoover Dam Central Warehouse located at State Route 172, Boulder City NV.
