The Trinity River Authority (AUTHORITY) Regulatory Services & Compliance Laboratory (TRA-RS&C Lab), located at 6500 Singleton Blvd., Dallas, TX, is seeking bids for the procurement of a Gas Chromatograph (GC) system. This initiative aims to enhance the laboratory's capabilities in analyzing Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) in various water sources and solid matrices, adhering to TCEQ Method 1005.

Work Details

The contract involves the purchase of a Gas Chromatograph system that includes computer control, printer, and all necessary components and software for full functionality. The system must be capable of analyzing TPH in wastewater, drinking water, groundwater, surface water, and solid matrices. Additionally, the contract requires on-site training for up to five personnel, consisting of initial instrument operation training followed by a minimum of three days of application-specific training. The GC system must meet specific sensitivity limits: 1 mg/L for TPH in aqueous samples and 7 mg/L for TPH in solid samples. The successful bidder must ensure that all components are new and fully operational upon installation.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon approval from the AUTHORITY Board and notification to proceed. The successful bidder is required to deliver and install the GC system within 40 business days after bid award.

Place of Performance

The installation and training will take place at the Trinity River Authority RS&C Laboratory located at 6500 Singleton Blvd., Dallas, TX 75212.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a Texas Resident Bidder Certification and a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire with their submission.
