The John Jay College Auxiliary Enterprises Corporation, part of The City University of New York (CUNY), is seeking a contractor to manage food services at John Jay College. The goal is to provide the college community with fresh, nutritious, affordable, and tasty food and beverages through the management of dining rooms, cafeterias, catering services, and related activities. The selected vendor will be expected to promote health and well-being by offering affordable foods that encourage healthy eating habits while ensuring access to healthy food for low-income students.
The contractor will be responsible for the management and operation of food services at John Jay College, including: - Operating dining rooms and cafeterias. - Providing catering services for college events. - Ensuring a variety of menu options that cater to dietary needs such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-sensitive, halal, and kosher diets. - Implementing innovative strategies to enhance convenience and affordability for students. - Sourcing food from local producers to support the local economy. - Maintaining safe working conditions and fair compensation for all employees in the food supply chain.
The anticipated term of the Food Service Operations Contract is five years with two optional two-year renewals. The contract is expected to commence on August 1, 2026.

Proposers must demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience in food service operations.
