Background The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this solicitation for STAT Reference Lab Testing services for the Phoenix Veterans Affairs Health Care System (VAHCS). The goal of the contract is to provide timely and efficient laboratory testing services to support the healthcare needs of veterans. This contract will be a firm-fixed-price agreement and is classified as an unrestricted open-market solicitation. Work Details The contractor will provide STAT Reference Lab testing services as needed for the Phoenix VAHCS. The services include: 1) Performing laboratory tests as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW) in Section B.2; 2) Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, including maintaining necessary certifications and licenses; 3) Providing results in a timely manner to support patient care; 4) Maintaining medical liability insurance throughout the contract period; 5) Notifying the VA Point of Contact of any unusual circumstances related to contract performance; 6) Ensuring that all testing personnel meet qualifications set forth under Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) regulations. Period of Performance The period of performance will begin on June 23, 2026, with one base year and four one-year option periods extending through June 22, 2031. Place of Performance The services will be performed at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Phoenix Veterans Affairs Health Care System, located at 650 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85012.
