Background The Indian Education Acquisition Office, part of the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) under the Department of the Interior (DOI), is seeking to provide on-site Physical Therapist (PT) and Certified Physical Therapist Assistant (CPTA) services at T'iis Ts'ozi Bi' Olta (Crownpoint Community School) for the fiscal school year 2026-2027. The goal is to fill vacant contract positions to ensure exceptional student services for special education students. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to deliver physical therapy services. Specific tasks include: - Providing on-site PT and PTA services one day per week throughout the school year. - Conducting evaluations and interpreting results for the Individualized Education Program (IEP) committee. - Designing and implementing PT interventions based on IEP requirements. - Providing teacher consultation services and maintaining daily performance data. - Participating in IEP meetings, keeping an active roster of students, submitting case logs, and providing progress reports. - Conducting comprehensive evaluations within 60 days as mandated by IDEA, using standardized assessment tools.
