Background The Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) is seeking to establish OnRamp Hubs as part of its mission to accelerate the adoption and transition of commercial technologies for warfighting advantage. These hubs serve as a connection point between validated operational problems and commercially developed solutions, facilitating rapid delivery of capabilities to the warfighter. The OnRamp Hub program aims to create a network that quickly identifies and evaluates commercial technologies to meet military needs, thereby reducing barriers to entry for nontraditional and dual-use companies. Work Details The OnRamp Hubs will implement standardized services that include: 1. Ecosystem Intelligence & Commercial Discovery: Continuous awareness of the innovation ecosystem to identify relevant technologies; maintaining a structured dataset of companies and capabilities; monitoring emerging technologies. 2. OnRamp Facilitation & Exchange: Structured engagements with stakeholders to address Department of War (DoW) priorities; fostering dialogue and knowledge exchange among commercial companies, mission partners, and experts. 3. Marketing and Intake: Conducting outreach activities to attract commercial entities; initial screening to align companies with mission areas; tracking engagement effectiveness. 4. Travel: Conducting purposeful travel for stakeholder engagement, program execution, and participation in national meetings; ensuring travel aligns with program objectives. 5. Data and Reporting: Utilizing a centralized Digital Backbone for standardized data collection and reporting; capturing real-time metrics to support oversight and performance tracking. Place of Performance The services will be performed at the OnRamp Hub located in Washington State.
