This solicitation seeks bids for #2 Heating Oil and Standard Off-Road Diesel Supply Services to support the operational needs of City Schools.

Work Details

The contract requires the provision of #2 Heating Oil and Standard Off-Road Diesel Fuel Supply services at various City Schools locations. Key requirements include: - Delivery of fuel within 48 hours from request, with delivery hours from 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday. - Monitoring and restocking of heating oil and diesel fuel inventory. - Delivery methods include: - Tank Wagon for deliveries under 3,000 gallons, - Tank Wagon for deliveries between 3,000 to 7,000 gallons, - Transport deliveries for minimum orders of 7,001 gallons. - The Bid Factor must cover all costs associated with delivery and operation. - Emergency deliveries must be made within four hours upon request. - Monthly reporting in Excel format detailing delivery locations, dates, fuel types, amounts delivered, OPIS pricing on delivery dates, and total costs.

Period of Performance

The anticipated contract term is three years from the date of Board approval with an option for two additional one-year renewals at the discretion of City Schools.

Services will be performed at various locations within Baltimore City Public Schools.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be licensed in Maryland and comply with all federal, state, and local laws. They are required to submit a State of Maryland Certificate of Good Standing issued no later than sixty days prior to the bid due date. Bidders must also provide a Certificate of Insurance naming the Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners as Additional Insured.
