Work Requested

The City of Mankato is seeking prequalification applications from Subcontractors interested in performing work on the Vetter Stone Amphitheater Improvements project. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: - Completing all necessary improvements as part of the Vetter Stone Amphitheater project. - Meeting all contract obligations and performance measures as will be defined in the final negotiated contract. Only Subcontractors who successfully complete the prequalification process will be eligible to participate in the subsequent competitive Price Solicitation/Request for Bids (RFB) phase. Background

The purpose of this RFQ is to establish a list of prequalified Subcontractors for each work category involved in the Vetter Stone Amphitheater Improvements. Only those who are prequalified through this process will be invited to submit bids during the RFB phase. The RFQ also outlines the contractual conditions that must be agreed to by responders who become prequalified and are awarded a subcontract.

Contract Requirements

- The prequalification period will last for three (3) weeks. - The contract period will be a minimum of eight (8) months or until all contract obligations are fulfilled. - Detailed contract obligations and performance measures will be defined in the final negotiated contract. - A sample contract is provided as Exhibit D, which includes information on required insurance coverage types (Risk Type A, B, C, and D). - The Construction Manager at Risk reserves the right to enter into a contract or reject all proposals, as detailed elsewhere in the RFQ.

Instructions on Submission

Subcontractors interested in being considered must submit all required prequalification documentation as outlined in the RFQ. Only those who are prequalified will be eligible to participate in the subsequent RFB process.
