Audiovisual System Performance Specification

Background

The Borough of Tenafly is issuing Bid # 26R-04 for the procurement of a complete audiovisual (AV) system for the Huyler Park Bandstand. The goal of this contract is to enhance public events by providing a fully operational outdoor AV system, which includes an LED display and sound reinforcement capabilities. This initiative aligns with the Borough's mission to improve community engagement through enhanced public facilities.

Work Details

The contractor shall furnish, install, test, and commission a complete outdoor AV system that includes: - A portable outdoor-rated direct-view LED display system with a minimum size of 7'-0" H x 12'-0" W, pixel pitch of 2.5 mm – 3.0 mm, brightness of at least 1200 nits, and IP65 rating. The system must feature automatic brightness control and be suitable for outdoor temporary installation. - A portable stereo sound system comprising two loudspeaker stacks (left/right), each with line array elements and a minimum 18" subwoofer, along with all necessary rigging and interconnecting cables. - A digital mixing console with at least 20 input channels and network audio capability. - All required mounting, cabling, accessories, testing, commissioning, training, and documentation to ensure the system meets specified performance requirements.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by May 19, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed in Bergen County, New Jersey, specifically at the Huyler Park Bandstand in the Borough of Tenafly.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with N.J.S.A.10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C.17:27 regarding equal employment opportunity.
