Work Details

The selected vendor will be responsible for providing renewable energy services, including but not limited to: - Development of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, etc.) - Management of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with fixed pricing structures for a minimum of 15 years - Provision of detailed project timelines, including deliverables and responsibilities - Asset production profiles and interconnection queue status - Compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding renewable energy - Maintenance and operational support for the duration of the contract - Reporting on project performance metrics and compliance with warranties.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon execution and is expected to last for a minimum of 15 years, with options for renewal based on performance and mutual agreement.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed within Harris County, Texas, with specific project locations to be determined based on the proposals submitted.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must demonstrate experience in renewable energy projects, particularly in public sector engagements. They must provide financial statements, proof of compliance with local labor laws including the Harris County Contractor Minimum Wage Policy ($21.65/hour), and evidence of capacity to manage long-term PPAs. Additionally, bidders should have appropriate insurance coverage and must not have any outstanding debts or taxes owed to Harris County.
