Background The Department of the Air Force, specifically the 27th Special Operations Contracting Squadron (AFSOC) at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico, is seeking to procure Motorcycle Safety Training as mandated by the U.S. Department of War. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all affected operators receive the required Motorcycle Safety Foundation® (MSF) training, which is essential for maintaining safety standards within the military. Work Details The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform Motorcycle Safety Training Courses for the 27th Special Operations Wing (27 SOW). The courses will be taught at Cannon AFB and must comply with the following requirements: 1. All instructors must possess appropriate MSF certifications. 2. The contractor must maintain an active and valid Cannon MSF Rider Education Recognition Program (RERP) throughout the contract duration. 3. The contractor shall offer/provide the following traffic safety courses: - Basic Rider Course eP1x11: Estimated 30 students - Basic RiderCourse2 (BRC2) – Skills Practice: Estimated 40 students - Advanced RiderCourse (ARC) – Skills Practice: Estimated 40 students 4. If changes to these courses are adopted by the United States Air Force, the contractor will be notified in writing by the 27 SOW Safety Office. Period of Performance The period of performance includes a base year from May 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027, with four option years extending through April 30, 2030.
