ACC-ANAD is seeking solutions for semi annual inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of Clean Agent systems (FM 200/HFC 227), Carbon Dioxide (CO2) systems, and Kitchen Hood fire extinguishing systems at Anniston Army Depot (ANAD). The resulting contract will include one base year plus four option years. Interested parties should review the attachments and the full CSO (W911KF25SC002) posting on SAM.gov for submission and evaluation procedures. ACC-ANAD is not obligated to extend a request for proposal or make an award as a result of this CSO AoI; all awards are subject to the availability of funds and successful negotiations. This CSO AoI is not an authorization to begin performance, and in no way obligates the Government for any costs incurred by the Offeror associated with developing a Response. Prior to commencement of any activities associated with performance under this CSO AoI, the Government will issue a written directive or contractual document signed by the Contracting Officer with appropriate consideration established. Background The Army Contracting Command – Anniston Army Depot (ACC-ANAD) is seeking solutions for the semi-annual inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of Clean Agent systems (FM-200/HFC-227), Carbon Dioxide (CO2) systems, and Kitchen Hood fire extinguishing systems at Anniston Army Depot (ANAD). The contract will consist of one base year plus four option years. This initiative aims to ensure the operational readiness and safety of fire suppression systems within the depot. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: conducting functional testing of detection, alarm, and releasing devices; performing visual inspections of cylinders, piping, and nozzles; verifying cylinder weight, pressure, and hydro-test dates; simulating discharge circuits and manual pulls; verifying alarm transmission and equipment shutdown; installing new inspection tags; and submitting detailed inspection reports with recommendations. The contractor will service three system categories across 16 buildings: Kitchen Hood Systems in Buildings 47, 78, 141, 1500; FM-200 Systems in Buildings 52, 53, 79, 96, 97, 362, 363, 513; HFC-227 / CO Production Systems in Buildings 128, 410, 474, 475. Specific requirements include replacing fusible links and blow-off caps at the first semi-annual inspection for Kitchen Hoods and cleaning detectors while testing battery backup for FM-200/CO systems.
