THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The 22nd Contracting Squadron is searching for qualified vendors who can provide: 1. Physical Hardware Sanitization of Government-Owned iPad Air M3 Devices (30 each) Requirement includes the permanent physical removal or disabling of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular chips, and microphone capabilities for use in sensitive environments. 2. Physical Docking Infrastructure Purpose-built dock infrastructure to exclusively deliver iOS and publication updates via a physical connection, as devices will have zero wireless capabilities. 3. Centralized Device Management Services / Support Support for an EFB Program Manager office to manage these devices for sensitive 801x exercise and real-world operational needs. Devices will have no wireless connectivity, no ForeFlight, no email, no Teams, and no certificates loaded. As part of its market research, 22 CONS/PKA is issuing this RFI to determine if there exist an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing the requirement. The Government may use the responses to this RFI for information and planning purposes. This RFI is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of 22 CONS/PKA market research. No Solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy. Responses to this RFI are not quotes on which the 22 CONS/PKA can issue any contract. This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute a Solicitation. The Government does not intend to award a contract based only on responses to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. 22 CONS/PKA will not pay for information received in response to this RFI. Background The 22nd Contracting Squadron is seeking qualified vendors to provide hardware sanitization services for Government-Owned iPad Air M3 devices. This initiative is part of the Air Mobility Command's efforts to ensure the safe use of Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs) in sensitive environments, thereby preventing classified spillage and enhancing operational security. Work Details The contractor shall perform the following tasks: 1. Physical Hardware Sanitization of thirty (30) Government-Furnished iPad Air M3 devices, which includes the permanent removal or disabling of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular chips, and microphone capabilities. 2. Provide purpose-built docking infrastructure to deliver iOS and publication updates via a physical connection. 3. Offer centralized device management services to support an EFB Program Manager office for managing these devices under sensitive operational needs. The scope of work requires the physical removal of components such as Bluetooth module, Wi-Fi module, cellular module, front and rear-facing cameras, microphones, and all recording capabilities without damaging the remaining functionality of the iPads. Deliverables include thirty modified EFBs with a report for each detailing the work performed and certifying component removal. Period of Performance 30 days from the date of contract award. Place of Performance All work shall be performed at the contractor's facility.
