Medical Inspector for Students: Non Athletic & Athletic Pre Participation Physicals for PHS & Elementary Sports Program

Background

The Passaic Public School District is seeking proposals from licensed physicians in the State of New Jersey to provide services as Medical Inspector for Students: Non-Athletic & Athletic Pre-Participation Physicals for Sports Programs. This initiative is in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:40-1 and aims to ensure compliance with legal requirements and Board of Education policies regarding student health assessments.

Work Details

The Medical Inspector shall provide any or all services required by law, including but not limited to: conducting pre-participation physical examinations for students involved in non-athletic and athletic programs, ensuring adherence to N.J.A.C. 6A:-16-2.3, and utilizing the Athletic Medical Examination form. The services are required for students participating in PHS, PASE, Passaic Prep, and Elementary Sports Programs.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and will be effective for the duration of the school year, specifically covering the 2026-2027 academic year.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed within the Passaic Public School District, New Jersey.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be licensed physicians in the State of New Jersey. They must comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding medical examinations for students. Additionally, bidders are required to submit a completed Affirmative Action Questionnaire and a Business Registration Certificate prior to contract award.
