Tactical Support Unit (TSU) Equipment Vehicle

Work Requested

The City of Olathe Police Department is seeking proposals for a turnkey Tactical Support Unit (TSU) equipment vehicle. The primary purpose of this vehicle is to facilitate cold-zone logistics, support operations, and training by efficiently transporting, organizing, securing, and enabling rapid deployment of TSU equipment and support tools. The vehicle must be capable of carrying and supporting the rapid deployment of equipment in the following categories: - Operator gear / personal protective equipment (PPE) - Breaching tools - Ballistic shields - Range equipment - Scene lighting - Construction / scene support tools Who is Requesting: This solicitation is issued by the City of Olathe Police Department.

Background

The requested vehicle is intended strictly for logistics and support roles within the cold zone. It is not designed or intended to serve as an armored or hot-zone platform.

Contract Requirements

The vehicle must: - Be turnkey and ready for immediate use upon delivery - Be capable of transporting, organizing, securing, and rapidly deploying a wide range of TSU equipment and support tools as listed above
