Background

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking contractors to provide temporary emergency drinking water to residents with private drinking water wells affected by environmental pollution or hazardous substances. This initiative is part of the Remediation and Redevelopment (RR) Program, aiming to ensure access to clean drinking water across the state. The contracts resulting from this Request for Bid (RFB) will adhere to applicable sections of the Wisconsin Administrative Code NR 738.

Work Details

Contractors will be responsible for delivering bottled drinking water on an as-needed basis throughout the State of Wisconsin. The services will be directed by DNR’s RR Program in collaboration with the Drinking Water and Groundwater Program. Contractors must demonstrate a history of prompt and efficient service in providing drinking water. The DNR intends to award up to three contracts per service area or county based on the lowest qualified bid.
