The goal of this contract is to ensure that the trails are maintained to standard, adhering to applicable Trail Maintenance Objectives (TMO). This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns and aims to support the agency's mission of managing national forests and grasslands sustainably. Work Details The contractor will provide rental services for the following equipment: one tracked loader, one mini-excavator, and two trailers (one for each piece of equipment). The rental equipment should be around the 9,000 lb range. The scope of work includes: - Maintaining motorized trails in accordance with applicable TMO standards. - Ensuring that all equipment is operated by certified trail equipment operators under the supervision of the Forest Service. - The contractor will be responsible for maintenance and care of the rented equipment as per the rental agreement. - If any equipment is damaged beyond 'fair wear and tear', the renter will be liable for maintenance charges. - All charges must be invoiced and submitted for payment before any payments are made. Payments will only be processed after completion of the rental period. Period of Performance The contract period of performance is from June 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026.
