Background The National Defense University (NDU), located in Washington, D.C., is seeking to procure catering services to support the International Student Management Office (ISMO) for their Spring and Fall Graduate Receptions. The NDU's mission is to develop joint warfighters and national security leaders through rigorous academics and research. This contract aims to provide high-level catering services for formal receptions hosted by the NDU President. Work Details The Contractor shall provide all personnel, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and services necessary to plan, support, and execute formal standing receptions at Fort McNair, Marshall Hall Atrium (Building 62), or an alternative location provided by the university. Specific tasks include: - Hosting catered standing reception events twice annually for approximately 450 guests; - Ensuring food safety and health code compliance; - Providing standing tables, linens, decorations, audio/visual capabilities including voice projection and lighting; - Accommodating dietary restrictions such as vegetarian and halal options; - Ensuring no pork or alcohol is included in menu items.
