Background The United States Space Force (USSF) is seeking to enhance its enlisted training capabilities through the development, instruction, and maintenance of an Enlisted Initial Skills Training course. This initiative, known as the Guardian Enlisted Training (GET), aims to refine the roles of enlisted Guardians as technical specialists in satellite operations, cyberspace operations, and intelligence operations. The 533d Training Squadron (533 TRS) is tasked with transforming Guardians into joint-minded space professionals equipped with the necessary technical skills and knowledge to protect and deliver space power. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for developing, instructing, and maintaining courses related to Guardian Space-Domain Fundamentals, Space Systems Operations (5S), Intelligence (5I), and Cyberspace Operations (5C). Key tasks include: - Course Development: Create and maintain instructional materials for all courses. - Instruction: Provide qualified instructors to deliver training. - Mission Integration: Conduct exercises and capstone events that integrate various mission areas. - Modeling and Simulation: Utilize software to create realistic training scenarios. - Student IT Support: Manage student IT equipment inventory and maintenance. - Performance Evaluation: Monitor contractor performance against established standards and provide corrective actions for any deficiencies. Period of Performance The contract will commence upon award and continue through a series of option years until January 1, 2031. The base year starts from contract award until January 1, 2027, followed by three option years extending through December 31, 2030. Place of Performance The primary location for performance will be at Government facilities on Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
