Background The Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), Division of Acquisitions is seeking to provide exceptional student services by filling vacant contract positions in Occupational Therapy and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistance at Crownpoint Community School (CCS) for the fiscal school year 2026-2027. This solicitation is set aside for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE). The goal is to ensure that identified students receive adequate counseling services as mandated on their individualized education plans (IEPs). Work Details The contractor shall provide in-person Occupational Therapist (OT) and Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) services, including: - Conducting occupational therapy evaluations and interventions for identified students. - Working onsite one to two days per week throughout the fiscal school year. - Evaluating and interpreting evaluation results for the IEP committee. - Providing teacher consultation services, daily performance data, assisting with goal writing, participating in IEP meetings, maintaining an active roster of students, submitting case logs, and progress reports. - Conducting comprehensive evaluations within 60 days as mandated by IDEA and participating in Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team meetings. - Developing IEP goals based on evaluations and recommendations. Period of Performance Base Year: August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027; Option Year 1: August 1, 2027, to July 31, 2028; Option Year 2: August 1, 2028, to July 31, 2029.
