Denture Adhesive - Canteen

Background

The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) is seeking quotes for denture adhesive products to support the Colorado Correctional Industries (CCi) Canteen Services program. This program aims to provide essential goods to offenders within the Department of Corrections, allowing them access to necessary items while also providing work experience and skill development opportunities.

Work Details

The awarded contractor will supply denture adhesive products specifically from the Fixodent or Poligrip brands, with no substitutions allowed. Each product must be capable of holding dentures in place for several hours using minimal amounts without requiring multiple applications. The product size must be 2.2 oz or larger, and bidders must provide pricing for each available size. Respondents are required to submit detailed information on brand names, quantity per package, size in ounces, and product numbers for each item proposed. Orders will be placed as needed by authorized Canteen personnel throughout the contract duration, and back orders are not permitted. Any unavailable items must be reported immediately to authorized staff along with expected restock dates. Additionally, mandatory samples of the specified brands must be provided by a set deadline for evaluation.

Period of Performance

The anticipated start date for the purchase order is June 15, 2026, with an initial term lasting until June 14, 2027. The contract may be renewed for up to three additional one-year periods at the discretion of CDOC.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at the CCi Canteen Warehouse located at 57500 Hwy 50 and Evans Rd, Canon City, CO 81212.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with accessibility requirements as outlined in the solicitation documents. They must also provide proof of registration with the Colorado Secretary of State prior to contract execution. Bidders are encouraged to submit documentation if they qualify as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). All bidders must complete and return specific exhibits (A-H) along with their quote.
