Work Requested

The Hattiesburg Public School District is seeking sealed bids/proposals for comprehensive Lawn Care Services for the 2026-2027 contract year. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: - Providing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to maintain the grounds of the District's properties as specified in the bid documents. - Ensuring all services comply with the detailed specifications available from the District. Who is Requesting: This solicitation is issued by the Hattiesburg Public School District, with the Central Office located at 301 Mamie Street, Hattiesburg, MS 39401.

Background

The District is inviting vendors to submit proposals for lawn care services for the 2026-2027 school year. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder, as defined in Miss. Code Ann. 31-7-13. The District reserves the right to select one or more vendors for different areas of the project, based on pricing, qualifications, and other evaluation criteria.

Contract Requirements

- All proposals must comply with the specifications provided by the District. - The District reserves the right to amend specifications as necessary and will notify all parties who have requested bid packets of any changes. - The District may waive informalities and reject any or all bids at its discretion.

Instructions on Submission

- Sealed bids/proposals must be received at the Hattiesburg Public School District Central Office by Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. CST. At that time, bids will be publicly opened. - All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Bid 26-020 2026 - 2027 Lawn Care Services." Envelopes should be mailed or delivered to:
