THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is NOT a solicitation, but market research to determine potential sources to Software Support on Keesler AFB, MS as described in the attached Performance Work Statemetn (PWS). This notice does not constitute a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. Further, we are not at this time seeking proposals; therefore, DO NOT request a copy of a solicitation or submit a proposal as a result of this notice. Responders are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this sources sought and that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All costs associated with responding to this sources sought will be solely at the responding party's expense. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, should one be issued. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise from a response to the notice. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the SAM.gov website for additional information pertaining to this sources sought.

RESPONSE INFORMATION

Responses to this Sources Sought Notice must be received no later than 1:00 PM CST, on Friday, 15 May 2026. Responses should be emailed to: joshua.brown.138@us.af.mil and paul.bennett.16@us.af.mil. It is the responsibility of the respondent to ensure their email has been received by contacting either the Contract Specialist, SSgt Joshua Brown, at 228-377-1808 or Contracting Officer, Paul Bennett, at 228-377-3808 or via email PRIOR to the deadline. Responses and/or inquiries WILL NOT be accepted past the deadline. Interested parties should include their company name, address, phone number, point of contact, CAGE code, company size status, and whether or not they are a U.S. or foreign-owned firm. All interested parties must provide a response containing a written statement confirming they can comply with the Government needs as specified in the Performance Work Statment (PWS), any associated product literature, and if the items are located on a Federal Supply Schedule contract. Background This Sources Sought Announcement is issued by the 81st Communications Squadron at Keesler Air Force Base (AFB), Mississippi, to conduct market research for potential sources to provide software support for the Omnissa Horizon software components used in the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) at Keesler AFB. The goal of this contract is to enhance the operational capabilities and security posture of the VDI environment that supports the Emergency Operations Center (EOC). Work Details The contractor will provide independent assessment, analysis, consultation, and support for the Omnissa Horizon software components within the VDI environment. Key tasks include: - Providing 50 hours of Ad Hoc support for operational requests and proactive project work, with unused hours rolling over to subsequent annual renewal agreements. - Conducting an initial independent technical assessment of the current VDI architecture to offer expert analysis and recommendations for modernization and long-term sustainment. - Implementing the Omnissa Blast Extreme protocol to replace the PCoIP protocol, which will reach end-of-support in 2028. - Offering technical support and remote assistance to resolve service degradation and improve VDI operational health. - Performing follow-up assessments and optimization reviews to ensure that the VDI meets evolving operational needs and mission goals.
