Aggregates and Road Base

Background

Cleveland County is issuing a six-month non-encumbered contract for the provision of highway aggregates and road base material. This contract aims to support the County Commissioners in maintaining and improving local infrastructure. The contract period will commence on June 15, 2026, and conclude on December 14, 2026.

Work Details

The contractor will supply various types of aggregates and road base materials as specified in the solicitation. The materials include: - **Coarse Aggregates**: Compliance with Section 703 Oklahoma State Highway Specifications, including various sizes of Crusher Run (3-1/2", 2-1/2", 1-1/2", 1") and No. 4 Screenings, all to be bid per ton. - **Cover Aggregates**: Compliance with Section 703-2(b) Oklahoma State Highway Specifications, including sizes such as 1/2" Unwashed Chips, 3/4" Unwashed Chips, and 5/8" Unwashed Chips, also to be bid per ton. - **Portland Cement**: To meet the Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, with pricing required for delivery to designated areas in multiple zones. - **Cement Slurry**: To be delivered and applied into subgrade soil at specified rates determined by District Foremen. The slurry must contain a minimum of 55% cement material by mass and comply with ASTM C150/150M standards.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed from June 15, 2026, through December 14, 2026.

Place of Performance

The materials will be delivered to designated areas within Cleveland County, Oklahoma.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a notarized sworn 'Statement of Non-Collusion' with original signatures. They are required to comply with all bid regulations listed in the bid packet and provide proof of compliance with specifications. Additionally, bidders must carry liability insurance as specified in the solicitation.
