Background The Air Force Sustainment Center’s Maintenance Contracting Branch at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is seeking to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the procurement of two Waterjet Cutters. This solicitation is part of a Full and Open competitive effort aimed at acquiring commercial items. Work Details The contract involves the purchase of two Waterjet Cutters with the following specifications: - Each cutter will be equipped with 94,000 psi intensifier pumps and associated support equipment. - Minimum work envelope dimensions of 4m x 2m. - The cutters will feature 2 rotation axes on the cutter head and 3 gantry motion axes. - They will utilize abrasive media and water through the cutter head, controlled by a 5-axis motion system, to effectively cut materials within the specified work envelope. - A waste management system will be included to separate waste material from liquid in the work envelope. - Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training will be conducted directly by the equipment's Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
