Dept. Of Agriculture - Elba Lab - Ceiling Light Installation

Background

The Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries is seeking quotes for the removal and replacement of lighting at the J. B. Taylor Regional Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (Elba Lab). The goal of this contract is to upgrade the facility's lighting from High Bay 250 Watt HPS lights to LED lights, enhancing energy efficiency and lighting quality.

Work Details

The contractor will remove eight (8) High Bay 250 Watt HPS lights and replace them with LED lights. The installation will take place in a facility where the distance from the floor to the ceiling is approximately 20 feet. The electrician performing the work must be licensed, and the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries reserves the right to request a copy of the electrician's electrical license.

Period of Performance

The service must be performed within thirty (30) days from the issuance of the purchase order.

Place of Performance

The work will be conducted at the J. B. Taylor Regional Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory located at 495 State Road 203, Elba, AL 36323.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must ensure that their electricians are licensed. Additionally, suppliers quoting alternate items must provide complete model/part numbers as well as descriptive/technical literature for consideration and evaluation with their quote.
