The City of Great Bend, Kansas, is seeking proposals from qualified security system contractors to upgrade the wastewater treatment facility’s security camera system and install electronic access control systems. Work Details

The contractor will provide a fully turnkey security solution that includes: - Removal of existing non-compliant equipment; - Design and engineering of the new system; - Supply and installation of cameras, servers, network hardware, access control hardware, cabling, and mounting hardware; - Integration of video surveillance with access control and intercom functions; - Configuration, programming, testing, commissioning, and training. Specific tasks include: - Installation of NDAA-compliant IP cameras in various buildings (Main Office, South Shop, Electric Building, etc.). - Installation of electronic access controls on multiple doors with card readers and electric strikes. - Provision of structured cabling that is tested and certified. - A minimum one-year warranty on all components and technical support. - Design must ensure a minimum 30 days video storage retention with adequate image resolution for identification purposes.
