The goal of this contract is to provide and install a fully automatic diesel exhaust extraction system at Building 420 Fire Department located at McLaughlin Air National Guard Base in Charleston, WV, ensuring the health and safety of personnel by effectively managing toxic diesel exhaust emissions. Work Details The contractor shall perform the following tasks: 1) Install a custom-configured, ceiling-mounted vehicle exhaust removal system designed for up to 12 fire apparatus. 2) The system must include magnetic nozzles that connect directly to the tailpipes of vehicles to remove 100% of toxic diesel exhaust gases and particulates at the source. 3) Daily removal of debris must be conducted at the end of each workday, ensuring no materials are left on-site that could pose hazards. 4) The contractor must obtain a Burning and Welding Permit from the Base Fire Department before commencing any operations that produce sparks or flames, such as welding or cutting. 5) All demolition debris must be disposed of in compliance with State and Federal regulations, with documentation provided to the Base Civil Engineer. Recycling of materials recovered during demolition is encouraged. Period of Performance The contract will be performed from June 17, 2026, to July 1, 2026.
