Background The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is conducting market research to gather information on available vendors capable of providing Evidence Collection Equipment and Services. This Request for Information (RFI) aims to formulate final requirements for an upcoming request for quote (RFQ). The FBI seeks feedback from industry partners to shape these requirements, which include equipment, supplies, licenses, and services. Work Details The FBI is looking for vendors that can supply all necessary equipment, supplies, and services as outlined in the preliminary requirements. Key characteristics include: - Hand delivery of calibrated equipment. - Facility must have Equipment Manufacturing Certification. - Employees must be manufacturer trained and certified for equipment repairs and calibrations. - Vendors should be located within 100 miles of the Laboratory Division Headquarters in Quantico, VA to minimize transportation risks and ensure quick response times for technical issues. - Supply new software licenses along with yearly maintenance for those licenses.
