Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing a solicitation for event management and production services for the 251st Commemoration of the Battle of Bunker Hill at Boston National Historical Park. This event is part of the America250 national commemorative programming, aimed at honoring significant historical events and figures. The goal of this contract is to ensure a successful and well-organized commemoration that will attract a diverse audience, including dignitaries, military leaders, veterans, students, and the general public. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, transportation, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to support two days of events on June 16 and June 17, 2026. Key tasks include: 1. Core Physical Infrastructure: Setup of a tent for approximately 300 people, white ivory flat-bottom chairs, a stage measuring 12'Wx24'x3'H with navy skirting, and stage stairs with rail. 2. Optional Services: - Sound system setup and operation - Lighting design and operation - Media platform installation (8'x12'x3') - ADA compliant stage setup - ASL interpretation services - Portable restrooms (2 ADA accessible & 2 standard) - Wooden podium setup - First Amendment barricade setup at Bunker Hill - Tent audio system installation - ADA compliant access ramp installation - On-site water station setup - Overnight security services during the event - Tent sides installation and removal - Noise permitting services - Video and production services for the event. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is from May 16, 2026 to July 3, 2026. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at Boston National Historical Park, specifically at the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown, MA.
